Caligari Eye, April 2007

The Past and the Future

3D can be used to look into the past, or to imagine the future, and in this edition of the Caligari Eye we take a look in both directions!

First, following close on the March 6th anniversary of one of the epic battles in American history, we have Jim Boddie who has recreated the Alamo using trueSpace and Virtual Earth. Meanwhile, Flavio Adriani has been imaging what bike designs could look like in the future with inspiration from Lamborghini and Tesla.

Then we talk to trueSpace artists who have proven themselves winners thanks to their entries in the Lightworks image contest. Hear what they had to say, and maybe their advice will help you win the next contest you enter!

Remember The Alamo
