Information tracked

Cookie:

Client-side cookies are used to verify your login status when downloading products or when placing orders with our website. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. If you reject a cookie, you may still use our site; however, you may not be able to access all areas of our site.

Web Beacons:

In order to determine your ability to receive HTML email, in addition to determining whether or not an email has been opened, Caligari includes a “web beacon” in the majority of the HTML email messages we send. A web beacon (actually a small .gif image) is activated when an HTML email is opened via a request for the image on our servers.

This capability helps Caligari send email in a format you can read and enables Caligari, and our clients that use the functionality, to track the aggregate number of emails opened. The web beacon does not collect any personally identifiable information.

We also use, and provide our clients with, the capability to track when a URL has been clicked inside of an email message sent by our system. We use this functionality to track which links were clicked and in what quantity, as well as the aggregate number of links clicked. This click tracking functionality does not collect any personally identifiable information.

How Caligari uses the information

Caligari does not disclose your information to third parties without your consent. We use the information we gather for four general purposes:

1. To customize the advertising and the content you see;

2. To enhance the user experience in our network of sites. We use tracking information to determine how well each page performs overall based on aggregate user demographics and traffic patterns to those pages. This helps us continue to build a better service for you;

3. To fulfill your requests for certain products and services, such as sending out electronic newsletters and enabling you to participate in paid services, polls, contests, and message boards;

4. To send you information you agreed to receive we think will be of interest to you.
