This is the first post-trueSpace7 issue and as they say, things will never be the same. Thanks to the release of trueSpace7.1 and its smaller sibling truePlay, you can now have great modeling, stunning real-time imagery, true collaboration and more. Read about some brave souls who lead the way:

Our first user in this issue, Emmanuel Asset, has been in these pages before. We follow up on the progress of the Lafayette amphibious vehicle, plus hear about how he is revolutionizing the presentation of his work with truePlay.

Meanwhile, Marcel Delord is putting the finishing touches to his full-length CGI movie, Sonde, and has also been producing some amazing design work. We also talk with Vickie Eagle who landed a job at Solstar Games recently thanks to her work on her MMORPG, Witch Gate.

trueSpace7 development continues, and we plan on keeping you updated over the coming months with a new feature, the Captain's Blog, which starts here in this newsletter and will continue on our forums. Remember a lot of this information is based on stuff still under development, and doesn't necessarily reflect 100% what will be in the finished product, but we thought we would share more of the development process with you, and we hope you enjoy reading about it!
